Backstage Moon Young Hee

This was the first polaroid I did during the S/S 2010 collections in Paris.
I liked so much the make-up at the show from Moon Young Hee and this model looked so pretty with the dress.

I will go tomorrow to a party at the Château d'Augerville and will stay there until sunday afternoon.

Anna Dello Russo

I was so frustrated at Chloé, I couldn't get inside. I decided to go and arrive earlier at Junko Shimada. When I was leaving I saw Anna Dello Russo (Fashion Director at Large & Creative Consultant, Vogue Nippon) shining in front of me.
I asked her if she would pose for a polaroid and she saied yes! I took the camera from my backpack and did her pic. I was encouraged again to continue! :)

Backstage Chanel

The Chanel S/S 2010 show was again unbelievable! The catwalk was amazing, the make-up flawless and the clothes looked just perfect.
I had the chance to see Prince from very close! Claudia Schiffer, Rihanna and Natalia Vodianova!
At the backstage I did this polaroid of Karmen Pedaru (Next). She is so tall and pretty!

Now it is time to get back to work... I need to organize a beauty photo shoot this week! :)

Backstage Tim Hamilton

I took this polaroid at the backstage from Tim Hamilton's show.

My schedule today is pretty empty... and I used the free time to go for a walk and to buy some groceries at the supermarket. On the way back I saw Anna Selezneva having lunch at the Plaza Athénée, she was looking amazing! But this time I did not talk to her.

One more person asked me today which program I use to make the polaroids.
Why do people think I do that? Can't they see that the polaroids are real polaroids?

Backstage Lie Sang Bong

I did this polaroid in the backstage of Lie Sang Bong at the Musée d'Art Moderne. (Please tell me the name of the girls if you recognize them) It was a very pretty show and the backstage was full of amazing paintings and sculptures!

Today I will have a meeting at Silent Models. Wish me luck! But I can't tell you yet what the reason is!

I had so much fun yesterday at the Calvin Klein Party... they had so much food and drinks! :)

Backstage Costume National

I went backstage at Costume National and saw Sasha Pivovarova (IMG) sitting alone in a corner and texting something in her mobile. She was looking awesome but she did not want to do a polaroid... I went back (very sad!!!) to the middle of the backstage and saw Anna Selezneva (Silent Models) at the catering table and she looked gorgeous!!! I asked her if she would like to do a polaroid and she saied "SURE!". (I was happy again!)
I did the polaroid and we talked for a while until the picture was visible. She is such a nice girl! I'm a big fan of her now!

Mademoiselle in Paris

Last Week I saw this girl in front of the Hotel Plaza Athénée at the Avenue Montaigne and across the street hundreds of girls waited for the band "Tokio Hotel" that was hosted there.

Backstage Elie Saab

I love the vibe at the backstages from Elie Saab! (I have the feeling that the pretty dresses inspire the models.)
I was already trying to do a nice polaroid of Isabeli Fontana (Silent Models) for a long time...
the backstage was full but I was the only photographer close to her and this was the perfect moment! :)
Isabeli is a great girl! She is always so cute and funny!

Backstage Chapurin

Models in the backstage from Chapurin show S/S 2010. Naomi Campbell was at the runway in this show but I did not see her in the backstage... :(

Carine Roitfeld

I did this polaroid of Carine Roitfeld at the show from Isabel Marant. She is always so nice and I was so happy that she posed for my picture!
Isabel Marant's collection was great! Fresh and sexy!

You can't imagine how many chocolate samples I ate today at the Salon du Chocolat. It was delicious!!!
I had the chance to see the finals of the World Chocolate Masters and admire the chocolate sculptures done by the winners! The theme was "Haute Couture" and I was amazed with the artwork!
The japonese chef Shigeo Hirai is the winner of 2009 and his sculpture is fabulous!!! (I wouldn't have corage to eat it! It is perfect!)

Amanda Lear

Yesterday night I went to Amanda Lear's party at the Kube Hotel here in Paris.

Amanda Lear's life is so interesting... she was the muse of Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí in the 60's, she was photographed by Helmut Newton and she walked the runway for Yves Saint Laurent and Coco Chanel!
She used to hang out with Twiggy, Rolling Stones and The Beatles!!!!

I needed one polaroid of her! :)

Mademoiselle in Paris

What a great day! I woke up today and checked my email... there was a message that saied I had a picture published in the cover of a novel from Adam Thirlwell and that they owed me some money! :)
The book is called "The Escape" and the girl in the cover, is my girlfriend! :)

There is more!!! Today I saw that Soma Magazine published my street-style pictures! I did for them digital pictures and you can check them on page 34-35 of the digital version.

In the polaroid of today you see Nina. I photographed her for Soma Magazine but I liked her style so much and decided to make a polaroid of her too.

I did this polaroid of Gareth Pugh in the last day of Paris Fashion Week. He went to see the show from Giles at the Palais de Tokyo.

Backstage Dress33

Paris Fashion Week is over!!! I was so busy during the last days, I just didn't have time to scan the polaroids and update the blog!
I have been in 60 shows, worked every day until 4am, lost 3kg and my legs and arms are full of bruises! (Fashion Week is not for the weak!)

I loved the show from Chanel and Alexander McQueen! Hermès was so elegant, one of my favorites too!
I saw Prince, Nelly Furtado, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Lindsay Lohan...

I did almost one polaroid per show and I will be showing them during the next weeks. I hope everybody will like it!

Backstage Giambattista Valli

I can't believe I didn't see Mary-Kate Olsen at the show from Giambattista Valli!!!
She would look perfect in a polaroid! But I can't complain! I saw the show (amazing!) and went to the backstage.
I was also for the first time today at Celine and I really liked it but I didn't do any polaroids.

I was so upset that I could not see the YSL show. I think Stefano Pilati was not so impressed with the masterpiece I did of him a few days ago. (click here to understand)
Stefano, if you are reading this, please invite me for your next show! I will make another polaroid of you! :)

I was thinking today... I don't know if I should do polaroids of the fashionistas that go to the fashion shows. Hundreds of bloggers and paparazzi stay outside the shows and photograph over and over again the same people. Many of those also just dress up like that because it is fashion week...
I would like to hear your opinion! What should I do?!

Backstage Givenchy

I don't need to tell you how excited I was to be inside the Givenchy show and inside the backstage!
This polaroid speaks for itself! Natasha Poly (Women Management)!!!

I was also today at the show from Karl Lagerfeld, Emanuel Ungaro, Kris Van Assche and Costume National!

It was so difficult to choose a polaroid to publish! I did today 3 more with very special people!! (I will publish them after the fashion week! Stay tuned!)

Roisin Murphy

I used all my ninja powers to go inside the Viktor & Rolf show today! Once inside, my mission was to reach the backstage and make my polaroid. I turned on my stealth mode and went inside... The dresses looked insane and so cool! But I needed something special for the polaroid... and Roisin Murphy was perfect! She had the dress and all the style I was looking for! Her performance during the show was fabulous!

I love the shows from Jean Paul Gaultier but this time I did not receive the invitation and there was nothing I could do to get inside... I also never saw so many paparazzi!

Anna Wintour

I was praying all morning for the mighty gods of fashion to illuminate my way inside the show from Dior... (I was not invited!) but I think I did not pray enough, I was left outside!
There was just one thing I could do! Pray more and rub a rabbit foot to attend Lanvin! I was "the chosen one" by the holy PR and was allowed inside!

"It is now or never!" did I think when I saw Anna Wintour sitting in the first row of Lanvin. I wanted to do a polaroid of her for a long time already and she was there without any bodyguards close to her. I just stammered something to her... and she autorized me to do the picture with a nod.

I loved the new collection!!!

The show from Maison Martin Margiela was also impressive!

Backstage Nina Ricci

Extra! Extra! Exclusive polaroid from the backstage of Nina Ricci!!! I think just Vogue had access to this backstage... but I managed to take a quick look inside too!

I'm so sad that I could not see Balenciaga and Balmain! But it was a busy day anyway!
