The misadventures of the polaroid photographer



My Fashion Celebration Night turned into an unprecedented fashion photography disaster!
Well, it was not so bad, I ate macaroons all night, I saw lots of stylish and cool people and met some friends. The event was great!

Avenue Montaigne was so crowded and it was difficult to find a nice place to photograph. I have also seen so many bloggers in the street and I just did not feel it would be singular. I decided to wait and walk around to find something unique. When I finally photographed this girl, the picture came out like this. All the frames of this polaroid package have been damaged...such a shame! I wanted to sit and cry! I don't have one single picture of the night!

I promise I will make it up to everyone of you!!

    Don't cry, I think this is the most memorable picture I've seen in ages. It reminds me of holding polaroids up to a lightbulb to hasten their development!

    "The misadventures of the polaroid photographer" I love your title though... Eye-catching and fresh. It can be a new section, where you record all your unlucky moments :p I bet it'd be as great as the other categories...

    I think the pic tells the story nicely, I think it is wonderful that you are willing to share this. I certainly have days when I cannot draw to save my life... my hand just won't listen to my mind - very irksome!

    I'm amazed that you are still using Polaroid film in this age of digital. It does have it's charm, and it's hazards, not to mention that it's expensive.
